Over the coming weeks, the trade will see an invigorated campaign to promote new agency Marqués de Riscal from the team at Barwell & Jones. Having joined forces in September 2016, these two historic companies have both implemented significant investment and exciting plans for an industrious joint 2017.
The unveiling of this new partnership will be seen at the forthcoming Wines from Spain tasting on the 9th March at Tobacco Dock in London. Showcasing a selection of new vintages including Riscal’s 2012 Barón de Chirel, 2007 Gran Reserva and the 2016 Rueda Verdejo, these events will be an opportunity for the trade to meet the team at Barwell & Jones and Marqués de Riscal.

In response to taking on Marqués de Riscal, Barwell & Jones has refined their sales team, introducing a strong on-trade focus, allowing the company to expand their substantial links with the UK on-trade and independent retailers. Barwell & Jones has also invested in a specialist PR agency, Spritz Marketing & PR, to increase the presence of their focus brands.
